August 31, 1930 - December 25, 2015

Anne was born to Amalia and Pete Sundin on August 31, 1930, at Section 20, Township 40, Range 13, West of the 2nd, which was the Carl Johnson farm on the south side of Archerwill. She was baptized by Pastor Hage and was in the first confirmation class in the Archerwill Lutheran Church, which her father Pete had built.
Anne grew up on the Sundin farm 2 miles northeast of Archerwill and attended Archerwill School. Upon completion, she went to work at the Bank of Montreal in Rose Valley, where she also was a member of a girls' softball team. Anne married Vernon Jalmer Westberg on December 28, 1951, in Archerwill at the Bethany Lutheran Church.
They moved to the Westberg family farm in the Everton district to take over the mixed farm operation and started their family. Twins, Kim and Verona, were born in 1953, Sonja was born in 1956 and Harald was born in 1958.
They moved to Regina in 1976 and Anne started working for Richardson Greenshields. They later moved to Tisdale, where Vern was with Century 21 Real Estate and Anne had business ventures in property management with Marg Brownridge. Anne worked for Stats Canada for many years as a statistician, seeing many people and properties around Saskatchewan.
Anne was predeceased by her husband Vern; parents, Amalia and Pete; sister Ruth and brother Harald in Sweden; brother-in-law Harold; sisters-in-law, Joyce, Margaret and Hazel.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Kjell Sundin of Kelowna; her children, Verona of Edmonton, Kim (LaVerne) of Gilbert, Arizona, Sonja (Allan) and Harald (Val), of Edmonton. Anne also thought of Chris Taylor of Tisdale, as one of her family and called her "her Tisdale daughter." Anne will be missed by her grandchildren, Krista (Brad) Liddy and Kevin (Erin) Westberg of Gilbert, Arizona; Miranda (Noah) Jones, Ryan (Jessica) Petryshyn, Jared Petryshyn, and Vanessa (Jordan) Willey, all of Edmonton; Melanie (David) Leoni of Jasper and Brittney Westberg of Edmonton; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Logan and Chance Liddy and Conner and Matthew Westberg, all of Gilbert; Jessa and Aysiah Willey, plus Ryder, Finn and Leo Jones, and Ari and Parker Petryshyn, all of Edmonton; and Jasper Leoni of Jasper; as well as by many nephews and nieces in Sweden, the United States, and Canada.
