Anna Margaret Helgason (Inge) was born on December 12, 1914, on the Inge homestead north of Foam Lake. Her parents were Steinunn and Ingimundur Eriksson Inge. Anna attended the local school and then completed her high school in Wynyard. She met Sigmundur Helgason and they later married on February 19, 1937. Simbi and Anna shared a wonderful, love-filled marriage for 63 years before Simbi passed on November 16, 2000. Anna and Simbi had beautiful twin girls on January 1, 1938. Sianne Inge and Steinunn Ivonne. Sianne married Ed Chasky and Ivonne married Gylan Josephson. Anna's family tree grew by five grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and 13 great, great-grandchildren. Anna was very involved in the Mozart community, corresponded with many, many people, sat on the Consumers' Panel of Canada for 66 years, could cook and sew anything and had too many other gifts to mention - all the while having a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. She was truly an inspiring person!Anna was predeceased by her husband Simbi Helgason; her daughters, Sianne Chasky and Ivonne Josephson; her youngest grandchild Perry Chasky; her parents; and by many sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her sister Joanna Terrian; sons-in-law, Ed Chasky and Gylan Josephson; four grandchildren, Scott Chasky (Christina), Sheldon Chasky (Jackie), Farley (Lisa) Josephson and Shanna (David) Carriere; 12 great-grandchildren, 13 great, great- grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews.
