Clarence was born on March 7, 1944, the youngest child of Gust and Cora Johnson. He passed away on June 15, 2018, at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon after a short illness.
Clarence went to Robbinsdale II School. He enjoyed playing softball. He had a skating rink on his slough for some friends to play hockey. He also played some hockey in Rose Valley.
He did a lot of trapping and hunting. (He had trapping in common with Bill Belfour.)
He worked at various jobs and farmed, raising cattle, chickens, pigs, geese and turkeys. He liked gardening and growing raspberries.
He cut grass for the R.M. of Ponass Lake and also looked after the garbage dump for a number of years.
Clarence lived with his family on the farm, and after his mother passed away, his brother Raymond lived with him. He also helped his sister Louise after her husband died and looked after her when her health failed.

Clarence was predeceased by two infant brothers, Oscar and Peter. Two years ago, he lost his brother Raymond, sister Louise, and brother Gordon, all within nine months.

Clarence Johnson is survived by his special close friend Cousin Esther Kuhar as well, as loving cousins Kathleen Price, Eleanor Sabourin, and Ruth Christofferson.
