Daniel William Dugan, 68 years, passed away peacefully, on Thursday December 31, 2015. Dan was born on March 23, 1947 to Ralph Daniel Dugan and Gladys May Johnson Dugan in McAdam, New Brunswick. Dan was born with an open spine and his parents were told he could live eight days without surgery, and eight months with surgery. He had the surgery, and as you can see, God had other plans for his life.

Due to home circumstances and trouble with the law, Dan was placed in a Boys (Reform) School. Many times he stated, "It was the best thing that happened to me." It was while he was "out" that he met Carmen in high school. Dan then went back to the boys' school as the foster home did not work out.

When he told Carmen he did not have a new home to go to, Carmen said "I can fix that." Dan went to live with Mr. & Mrs. DeVuono, their children Carmen, Angelo and Gino for about four years.

While in high school, Dan met Linda Cadwalledar. Linda commented that Dan followed her home and fell in love with her mother. Through those years, Linda shared her personal faith in God with Dan, and on December 13, 1964, Dan accepted Christ as his own personal Savior. Dan followed Linda to Caronport, SK where she was enrolled in high school while he attended Briercrest Bible College. During his first year (1966) he met Angeline Isely from southern Wisconsin, and they were married September 2, 1967. Dan graduated in 1970 and four children were born into this family: Darren, Paula, Travis, and Danika.

From 1969 to October 2012, Dan pastored and/or planted churches in the Yukon Territory, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, including Wadena Baptist Church since 2001. He and Angie embraced the community and had plans to enjoy their retirement before he fell ill in 2012.

Dan will be forever loved and missed by his loving wife of 48 years, ANGIE; his son, Darren; grandsons, Bretton & Blake (Celeste); his daughter, Paula (Darren Seaman); grandsons, Kevin, Tyrel, & Caleb; his son Travis; grandsons Jack & Luke(Patricia); daughter Danika (Tom; Justin & Zak).

Dan was pre-deceased by his parents, Ralph & Gladys; the Johnson and Dugan grandparents; his half-sister, Grace; Angie's parents, Willis and Leona Isely; step-mother, Charlotte; brother-in-law, Daryle Isely; nephew, Gerald (who was the ring bearer at Dan and Angie's wedding); and niece, Laurel.
