Deanna Carole Malischewski

Deanna Carole Malischewski (née Dean) passed away peacefully at Kelvindell Lodge in Kelvington on January 28, 2025, with family by her side, at the age of 87. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Deanna enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially going on fishing and Ski-Dooing trips up North. She also had a passion for baking and was known for making delicious chocolate chip cookies for her grandchildren. Years ago, she was an avid crocheter, making loop jackets for all her grandchildren when they were small.

During her time at Kelvindell Lodge, Deanna enjoyed the many activities offered to the residents. Bingo was her favorite, and she also liked getting in a few games of crib with her friends.

Deanna leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl Sauer, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, along with many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vern, and her sons, Dale and Leslie.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Kelvindell Lodge for the compassionate care they provided to Deanna during her time there.
