It is with deep sadness that we announce that Doreen Christianson passed from this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born DoreenElizabeth Hamilton on April 1, 1930 just moments before her twin sister Doris. She is predeceased by her husband Gordon Christianson, her grandson Chad Christianson, her parents James and Flossie Hamilton, her brother Clifford Hamilton and sisters Marion Hume and Florence Morley. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Dave Solheim), and their children Jeffrey Solheim (Cory and greatgrandchildren Isaac and Evan), Krista Solheim, Tara Solheim (Sean Treble and his daughter Aurora), Erik Solheim (Maddie Duncan), Donald Christianson (Sarah Drew and her son Joshua) and son Gary Christianson (Leslie) and their son Clint Christianson (greatgrandchildren Courtlynand Landon), sister Doris Poole, brother Fankie Hamilton (Gladys), sister Bev (Henry Eichinger) and sister Brenda (Tom Ferguson), brother-in-law Stanley Christianson (Edith). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends. She was a prairie women with style and grace who will be deeply missed and remembered for her faith, kindness, generosity and acceptance of all. Blessed be her memory.
