It is with great sadness that the family of Eddie Burnett announces his passing. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Kelvington Hospital.
Edward John Burnett entered this world on January 21, 1941 to Earl and Ethel Burnett. Eddie worked at a sawmill north of Hudson Bay and helped on the family farm. In 1969, he started farming full time. Later he worked on various jobs – he worked with Brian Lund, at Peterson’s Auction Market, the Kelvington Rural Municipality, and with the Kelvington Trail Blazers.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling with family and friends. It was said that “if Eddie didn’t catch any fish, nobody did!”
