Edward Latoski, born on May 14, 1936, to Pauline and Michael Latoski, peacefully passed away on March 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised on the family farm, where he resided until his
final days. A dedicated farmer, Edward's passion for the land was unmatched. He found solace in music and was a devout man of God. He was a cherished member of the Knights of Columbus and a faithful parishioner of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church. His community involvement extended to the Lions Club and the Wishart Bowling Alley, where he shared laughter and joy with friends. Edward's greatest pride and joy were his family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Virginia, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. Edward was a loving father to six children: daughter, Kim (Lyle); Son, Trent (Margo) and their children Katie (Ian), Samantha (Joshua), as well as great-granddaughter Violet, and Mary (Cody); daughter, Kyla (Daren) and their son Riley (Dakota) and daughter Jordyn (Colton), along with great-grandson Emmett; daughter, Tracy (John) and their children Larissa and Anna (Jackson); son, Trevor (Brittanny) and daughter Zoë; son, Shane and his children Diego, Lucas, and Mia; sister, Elaine Patras; sister, Aggie Thomson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edward leaves behind a beautiful and enduring legacy of love, faith, and dedication to his family and community. He always had a joke to share, and a twinkle in his eye, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The pain of missing him is small comparing to his peace at rest. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
