Elden John Maryniak passed away at his home in Spalding, SK on April 26, 2021, at the age of 56.

Elden was born on May 14, 1964 in Rose Valley, SK to John and Lillian (Dowling) Maryniak. He was the first of four children.

Elden worked at many different jobs throughout his life; he worked for farmers, road construction, building houses, welding, in a bakery… until health issues forced him into retirement which involved some fishing, crop checking, and a lot of visiting with friends. Elden was the sort of person that made friends wherever he went, he had a knack for storytelling. His stories usually involved some questionable details, but they were always entertaining. He was also the kind of guy that only let you know the details of his life that he wanted you to know.

Elden is survived by his sister Donna (Bruce) Irvine and their daughters Charissa (Garrett), Easton Huebner, and Michelle Irvine; nephews Matthew (Dorothy) Woloshyn, Daniel Woloshyn, Logan Woloshyn; brother-in-law Derrick (Twyla) Woloshyn; uncles Nick (Carol) Maryniak, Alex (Shirley) Maryniak, and Orest Ochitwa; aunts Florence Maryniak and Sylvia Maryniak as well as lots of cousins and the numerous friends he made along the way.

Elden was predeceased by his parents John and Lillian Maryniak, sister Brenda Woloshyn, infant brother Gordon Maryniak, and several aunts and uncles.
