Emily Madey (Wachno) received her wings on June 24,2023, she was born January 6, 1928, to Mike and Francis Woynarski. Emily married Bill Wachno on November 2, 1947. They were blessed with four children Joanne, Shirley, Dennis and Ted. Devastation struck their family when Bill passed away in 1965. In 1966 she married Emil Madey and again blessed with two more daughters Jackie and Leanne. Emily devoted her time to her church and volunteering at Golden Acres with two of her best friends Lillian Mochulsky and Doreen Skjerven as well as her perogy making friend and seamstress Terry Ebert and her caring neighbor Doris Kerluke. Emily loved her garden and flowers and spent countless hours caring for them and making sure everything was perfect. She was helpful in getting the bridge built across the creek so she could go on her daily walks. Emily was predeceased by her first husband Bill and second husband Emil, as well as her Dad and Mom (Mike and Francis Woynarski), brothers Ed and Wally, her sisters Agnus (Leschyshyn), Vicky (Spuzak) brothers in-law Mac Leschyshyn, Mike Spuzak, Frank (Borowski), Gordon (Moroz), sisters-in-law Dorothy (Woynarski) and Sandy (Woynarski), and son-in-law Roger Seglie. She will be remembered by her children, first born daughter Launa (Ewanski) Watson, Joanne (Seglie) , Shirley Wachno, Dennis(Marie) Wachno, Ted (Twyla-Rae)Wachno ,Jackie (Glen) Kirby, Leanne (Dale) Hornle as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, her sisters , Katie (Borowski) and Elsie (Moroz), her brother Stan(Woynarski)and sister-in-law Anne (Arnold Davy), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
