Frances Irene Misuga (nee Antochow) of Wynyard, Saskatchewan passed away on May 4th, 2018. She was 69 years old.
Frances was born on April 26, 1949. She will forever be remembered as a larger than life personality who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She worked and played hard, and in between enjoyed a good laugh and plenty of cheer.
She described her life as a good one. She would tell you that she did things her own way, and in her own time and manner. She didn’t take anything at face value and was always determined to research to find an alternate solution or way to do any task, whether big or small. She felt compelled to fight for her rights and wasn’t afraid to challenge systems or authorities. One of her last messages that she wanted to share with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was to never fear a road block or when someone tells you no. If the cause is just – pursue it!
Fran will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Isabelle (Farahmand) Eini of Kelowna, BC; Adele Misuga of Timmins, ON; Kimberly (Doug) Hepworth of Sudbury, ON; her grandchildren Caitlin (Josh) Taibossigai, Migwans, Kayle, and Carson Pitawanakwat, Andrew, Natasha, and Colin Daviau; great-grandchildren Laila and Uriah Taibossigai as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are her siblings: Hanna Maksymytz, Stephanie Velychko, Ray (Bess) Antochow, Margaret Krawchuk, Georgina (John) Skilnik, Josephine (Rudy) Macsymach, Bill (Darla) Antochow and sisters-in-law Diane and Shirley Antochow.
Frances was predeceased by her parents Peter and Katherine Antochow; her brothers: John, Joseph, Mike, and Walter Antochow; sisters: Anastasia and Lena Antochow, Mary (Murray) Yurkiw, Rose (George) Mckenzie, Stella (William) Maksymytz, and brothers-in-law George Velychko and Raymond Maksymytz.
