George was born in Elfros, Saskatchewan July 18, 1932. He started school in Haglof, and later Springburn. After fi nishing
school, he worked side by side farming with his dad. In 1958 mom and dad retired and bought a house in Wynyard.
George continued to live with his mother and dad. George got a job at Crawfords (Lilydale) and worked there for 30 years.
There was always a garden in the backyard in Wynyard. Cucumbers, yes with vinegar and onions! He enjoyed curling,
going to hockey games, watching it on tv, playing pool, and watching football, especially The Riders. He was very interested
in sports.
George was a member of the Catholic Church, and attended whenever he could. He was also a member of the Knights of
Columbus.
George was predeceased by his parents, brother John and sister Mary.
George is survived by Anne West and family; Elizabeth Usipiuk (Joe) and family; and Agnes Reinhart (Doug) and family
