Georgina Florence Lee, age 77, passed away peacefully with her children at her side, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the Tisdale Hospital after battling a courageous fight with cancer for 34 years.

Georgina was born on June 8, 1942 in Rose Valley, to George and Florence (Campeau). She attended school in both Algrove and Rose Valley. Throughout Georgina’s teenage years, she cleaned houses in Archerwill and babysat her younger siblings.

In 1963, Georgina met Ernest Nelson of Rose Valley. To this union they were blessed with four children: Robbie, Ernie, Jimmy and Lori.

Throughout Georgina’s life she had a love for horses. She enjoyed spending time with her family camping every summer. She also had a great love for her babies (her dogs), especially Nikki who misses Georgina very much and had one last visit with her in the hospital. All her babies were precious to her.

Georgina is survived by her children Robbie, Ernie, Jimmy (DonnaLynn) and Lori, grandchildren Aaron (Mandy), Jared (Megan), Calli (Marshal), Braden, Brianna-Lynn, Taylor and Jordan (Hailey) and great grandchildren Lukas, Lux, Lexy and Brantley. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, daughter Sarah, her husband Ernest of 34 years and her companion of 19 years, Maurice.
