It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Mary Muller on Saturday, April 29, 2017, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Helen was born on May 19, 1933, one of five children of Philip and Julia Fleischakker. Helen grew up on the family farm near Pilger, Saskatchewan.
On August 3, 1955, Helen married Peter Muller. After their marriage, Helen and Peter resided on and continued to run the family farm near St. Benedict, Saskatchewan, until 1971 when the family moved to Wadena, Saskatchewan.
Helen raised three “busy” sons, helped out on the farm, always had a huge garden, was an amazing cook and an incredible hostess. No one ever went hungry when they came for a visit.
Helen, along with Peter, enjoyed spending time with family and friends camping and fishing.
Helen was predeceased by her parents; husband Peter; son Meldon; as well as by her brothers, Edward and John; sisters, Giselle and Genevieve; and brother-in-law Eugene Muller.
She leaves to mourn her loss, son Kevin (Deb [née Van Dorpe]); granddaughters, Sarah and Kerry Mueller; son Braden (Noel [née Wihak]; grandsons, Michael and Mathew and great-grandson Nikko; brother-in-law Philip Mueller; nieces, nephews, as well as many cousins.
