Isabella Statham

March 3, 1922 — May 31, 2017

Isabella was born in the Star City area, the oldest child and only daughter of Thomas and Nellie Jacklin.
She grew up and went to school in the South Star district and at age 19 married Sidney Arnold Statham. They farmed in the Star City area until the late 1960s when they moved to Saskatoon where they both worked for the Salvation Army Eventide Home.
In 1980, Sidney went to be with the Lord and Bella returned to Star City, where she was active in ladies’ Bible studies, enjoying grandchildren and gardening. She was well known for the flowers that she grew and for always wearing a hat.
Bella had a wonderful, unshakable faith in the Lord and saw many miracles in her life. Her family is very grateful for her many prayers on their behalf. Thanks, Mom.
Isabella was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Nellie Jacklin; brother Thomas and his wife Helen; brother Roy and his wife Jean; her husband Sidney in 1980; and her daughter-in-law Christa Statham.
She is survived by her six children, Winston (Marlene), Malcolm, Graham, Kathleen, Clifford (Arlene) and Heather (Garry) Doraty; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends who love her.
