Jamie Lee Young

Jamie Young, age 39, passed away on September 6, 2023 at Royal University Hospital.

Jamie was born on November 16, 1983 in Saskatoon to proud parents Gilbert “Jimmy” Young and Linda Desjarlais. Jamie grew up on the Fishing Lake First Nation, later moving her life to the surrounding cities of Saskatoon and Regina. Jamie was always a loving mother whom always shared her loving moment of social media with her children and grandchildren daily.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert “Jimmy” Young and Linda Desjarlais. Her son, Trinity Squirrel, and brother Harvey Machiskinic. She is survived by her sisters, Deena Kayseas, Jessica Young (Eric), Janine Young and younger brother, Jonathon Young. She leaves to mourn her 7 children Serenity, Kadence, Ayanna, Aniyah, Akiyah, Arriyan and Avaya. Jamie was a proud grandmother to late Trinity’s daughter, Sasha Rain and Serenity’s daughter, Olive.

Jamie will be forever Loved, remembered and greatly missed by all who had the honour of knowing her.
