William Gerald “Jerry” Elynuik, passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon on Thursday, July 13th, 2017, at the age of 70. Dad was born in Foam Lake, SK on August 5th, 1946 and grew up in the West Bend area attending school in both West Bend and Foam Lake. Much of Dad’s life was spent on the farm in Foam Lake raising Charolais and Angus cattle and grain farming. He later moved to Maple Creek, SK. where his love and passion for horses and cattle followed him into retirement. Dad spent his time fixing horse tackle, following the rodeo, creating one of a kind western art pieces as well as becoming an avid gardener growing prize-winning pumpkins.

Dad is predeceased by this parents, Mary and Alex Elynuik and sister Gloria Pell.
Left to mourn his passing is son Pat (Colleen) and daughter Paula (Jeff) Kelly and his beloved “Broncos” Campbell, Jakson, Hudson, Brendan and Nolan; three brothers, two sisters and many special nieces and nephews.

Dad’s greatest achievement in his life was his family. He loved and adored each and
every one of us, and made sure we knew this every time we were together, spoke
on the phone or by the cards he sent in the mail. Dad: We will never forget the three spot games played, the amazing dinners shared, the hockey games watched, your humorous
stories and the amazing twinkle in your eyes.

A graveside service will be held at Edmore Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery on Monday July 17th at 3:00 P.M. followed by a celebration of life and perogy dinner at the Foam Lake Hall. Please join us.
