Jo-Ann Pacik, of Saskatoon, SK, passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 76. She was born on March 6, 1945, to Fred and Kate Zazula (nee Yamniuk) in Wadena, SK.
Jo-Ann married Paul Pacik on April 26, 1969 in Rose Valley, SK. They farmed together and had three children: Terry, Rod and Ed. She was an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Ladies League in Rose Valley. After retiring from farming, Jo-Ann became a Commissioner for the Melfort and Saskatoon RCMP Detachment.
Jo-Ann had many hobbies. She enjoyed painting, watching curling, gardening, flowers, camping and preparing meals for all the special occasions. She loved her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up.
Jo-Ann is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul; sons Terry (Tanya) and children Austin and Kaitlin, Rod (Anna) and children Tirzah, Hannah, Kyle, David and Aaron, and Ed (Coleen) and children Dyllan and Brayden; eight great grandchildren; sister Darlene (Murray) Sobchyshyn; niece Rhonda Sobchyshyn and nephews Rodney Sobchyshyn and Gregory Sobchyshyn. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Kate Zazula, in-laws Alex and Elizabeth Pacik and brother Mervin Zazula.
