Judy Margory Matlock of Hudson Bay, SK, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2021 in Hudson Bay, SK at the age of 67.

Judy was born to Peter and Anne Smud on July 15, 1953 in Preeceville, SK. Judy married Allen Zip on August 26, 1972 in Hudson Bay, SK and they had two sons, Terry and Aaron. After 26 years, Allen and Judy separated. On September 15, 2012 Judy married Harold Matlock in Hudson Bay, SK.

Judy worked for 35 years as a wood mill worker, first at SaskPly then later at Wayerhaeuser. She also waitressed at  the Red Deer Hotel and worked road construction, cooking, flagging and driving the packer. She enjoyed fishing, camping, quading, doing puzzles, church, hockey and spending time with her family.

Judy leaves behind her loving family: husband Harold Matlock of Hudson Bay, SK; son Aaron (Leann Dyck) Zip of Saskatoon, SK; daughter-in-law Leanne Zip of Porcupine Plain, SK; granddaughter Taylor Zip of Porcupine Plain, SK; grandson Nayte Zip of Porcupine Plain, SK; brother Nick Smud of Calgary, AB; nieces Sharmon (Mike) Kozak of Calgary, AB, Darla (Russell) Ford of Kamloops, BC and Alysia (Les) Henley of Red Deer, AB and nephew Stacy Smud of Drayton Valley, AB. She was predeceased by her son Terry in 2018, her parents Peter and Anne and numerous extended family members.
