Kenneth Paul Stenbeck was born on October 9, 1949. Ken took his schooling in Wadena. At the age of 20 he moved to Yorkton to work at the Saskatchewan Abilities Council. He was there for 45 years, then moved to Alliance, Alberta. Ken was predeceased by his father Paul in 1996; mother Jean in 2000; and brothers-in-law, Delmar Hart, Lorne Cook and Barry Cook. He leaves to mourn his brothers, Donald, Robert and Laurence (Ann) Stenbeck; sisters, Shirley Cook, Joyce Cook, Peggy (Jacques) Ward, Carol (Jim) Balawyder, Glenda (Urbain) Arsenault, Gail (Allen) Taphorn and Donna (Hector) Chalifoux; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
