It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Laurine Audrey Davidson, age 78, on October 12, 2018, at Golden Acres in Wynyard, Saskatchewan.Laurine Audrey Bell was born on April 3, 1940, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, to Charles and Alice Bell. Laurine attended Buena Vista School in Saskatoon, then went on to graduate as a secretary from Saskatoon Tech.Laurine married Charles Edward Toth in May 1960. Laurine and Ed moved to Wynyard in 1963, where Laurine spent most of the remaining years of her life.Ed and Laurine had three children: Brenda Ann, Brent Charles and Barbara Laurine.Ed was tragically taken from Laurine in a car accident in January 1969.Through mutual friends, Laurine met Joel Davidson and they were married on July 5, 1974. Joel brought with him a daughter, Susan, whom Laurine loved as one of her own.Laurine loved working and had worked in Wynyard for Paulson’s Office, Triangle Accounting, Wynyard Equipment, and as Deputy Sheriff to name a few. She loved the people she worked with, as well as the many people she was able to meet through work.When not at work, Laurine loved to volunteer with many organizations in and around Wynyard. She was a member of Eastern Star in both Wynyard and Foam Lake and attended many Grand Chapters of Saskatchewan. Over the years, she helped with figure skating, minor hockey, minor ball, Lioness Club, hospital auxiliary, and Golden Acres auxiliary, just to name a few.Laurine’s greatest love was her family and spending time with them. She loved having the grandchildren stay at the lake with them for a week or two at a time. Each and every one of the grandchildren have great memories of time spent with Grandma.Laurine will be remembered by the many people she cared for, and for what she did to help everyone she could.Laurine was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Alice Bell; by her late husbands, Charles Edward Toth and Joel Grant Davidson; by her in-laws, Charles and Margaret Toth and Rohahn and Fredicka Davidson; brothers-in-law, Ray Toth, Harold Davidson, Fred Davidson, and Hjalmar Davidson; and sister-in-law Margaret Davidson.Laurine is survived by her children, Brenda (Ken Dennis) Toth, Brent (Shivaun Cassidy) Toth, Barbara (James) Worman and Susan Davidson; her grandchildren, Derek (Nicole Sumlic) Toth, Amanda (Ryan) Reib, Crystal (Craig) Barrett, Samantha (Brett Fernell) Loranger, Jayde Worman, Jamie Worman, Justin Worman, Jaxon Toth and Alex Toth; her great-grandchildren, Chase & Hailey Toth, Sloane Reib, Abigail Barrett, Jenny & Alyssa Murray & Lux Fernell; her brother Harold (Dorothy) Bell; sisters-in-law, Marg Monus, Bev Toth, and Marg Davidson; brother-in-law Herb (Lorraine) Toth; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
