Linda was born December 18, 1961. She was the second oldest of six children born to Mike and Eileen Samborski.
Linda attended school in Flin Flon, MB until Grade 5. The family then moved to a farm outside of Fosston, where she attended school in Rose Valley.
In October 1982, Linda married the love of her life, Barry Bilawchuk. After their wedding they moved to Yellowknife, NWT for one year. They then moved back to Kelvington and purchased A&H Groceries, changing the business name to Kelvington Groceries and Meats. They worked along side each other at the store until 2006, raising their two children, Aaron and Ashley, over those years. In 2006, they decided to start a new chapter. Linda and Barry moved to High Prairie, AB to work for Frieson’s IGA, working there together for 9 years. When Barry became sick and could no longer work, Linda decided she didn’t want to be there without him. Moving on to new opportunities, Linda worked for the Sheriff's Office and took on a job at a care home.
In 2019, Linda got news that she had cancer. After having a kidney removed, she suffered a stroke. Being the fighter she was, she recovered, amazing the doctors at how well she was doing. For the next 3 years, Linda spent her time loving her family and being as involved as much as she could in their lives, and enjoying the playful teasing Barry dished her way. She truly loved her family.
Linda enjoyed socializing with friends, family and neighbours. In her free time she loved gardening and being with her horses.
Linda passed away on December 19, 2022 at the age of 61 in High Prairie, AB. She will be missed by all that knew her.
