Lucy Makarow

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Makarow, who left us on December 6, 2024, at Lloydminster Regional Hospital. Lucy was born to John and Maria Krzak on their family homestead west of Nora, Saskatchewan, on February 8, 1931.

Lucy was predeceased by her husband, Adam; son, Edward; brothers, John, Ted, and Chester; and sister, Jenny. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Robert (Debbie) and Kenneth (Carole); grandchildren, Karri, Cody (Kaitlyn), Taelor, and Mitchel; brother, Ludwig; sister, Irene; sisters-in-law, Marion and Mary; brother-in-law, Archie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor Lucy’s life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Tompkins Funeral Home Chapel in Wadena, Saskatchewan, at 1:00 PM. A lunch will follow at the Rose Valley Seniors Centre.
