Marie Koch, age 92, of Kelvington, SK passed away on February 27, 2019 at the Kelvindell Lodge in Kelvington, SK.

Marie was born in Kisbey, SK on August 7, 1926 to Dave and Lilas Smith. She married Otto Koch on August 11, 1944 in Weekes, SK. Marie was a homemaker and caregiver. She worked extracting honey for a lot of years and worked part time at the Kelvington Auction Market.

Marie had many hobbies. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, playing bingo, attending the Kelvington fair, reading, card games and visiting with everyone. She quilted with East Treherne.

Marie is survived by her daughters Lilas (Joe) Jaworski and Rose (Don) Johnson, sons Orville (Gloria) Koch, David (Dianne) Koch, Russell (Pauline) Koch and Jimmy (Rose) Koch, sister Jean Currie, brother Russell Smith, eleven granddaughters, eight grandsons, 38 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Otto in 1984, parents Dave and Lilas, Sister Lilas Slater, brothers-in-law Les Slater and Jim Currie and one great great granddaughter.
