Mary Ann (Honnef) Martin was born to Louis and Rose Honnef on December 19, 1953. She was the only child.
She attended McKage School to grade eight and continued her education in Tisdale, completing her grade 12 in 1971.
After high school, Mary worked at the Co-op grocery store in Tisdale. She worked there until 1975. She then pursued a dream of being a continuing care aid. She worked between Rose Valley and Wadena.
She met Yves Martin of Perigord, Saskatchewan, at a dance in McKage. They were married on June 21, 1985. They resided in Archerwill, where they raised their two children, Deven and Holly.
Mary enjoyed reading cookbooks and putting her own little twist on recipes. She enjoyed cooking meals to have family and friends over to visit.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Rose Honnef.
She leaves to mourn her husband Yves, son Deven (Amanda), daughter Holly (Nathan), brother-in-law Dale (Natina), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
