Muriel Naomi Guy, of Lintlaw, SK, passed away on October 18, 2020 at the Preeceville & District Health Care Centre Long Term Care at the age of 84. Muriel was born on November 24, 1935 to Stephen and Anne Plasken at the family homestead near Marean Lake, SK. She married Hubert Guy on July 16, 1954 at Madge Lake, SK.

Muriel was a homemaker, farmer, wife, mother and grandmother. Muriel was a teacher at Arden Leigh School when she met Hubert, was a bus driver for 30 years and bookkeeper for Lintlaw Service. She was on the Housing Board of Lintlaw, the School Board of Wadena School Unit and a member of the Golden Glory Club. Muriel enjoyed reading romance novels, fishing, playing bingo, cooking, gardening and playing cards.

Muriel is survived by her husband Hubert of Lintlaw, SK; daughter Wendy (Dale) Banadyga of Swift Current, SK, children Megan (Chris) and family Steen, Soren and Kerr, Tenille (Tyson), Zane (Danielle) and family Tazmyn and Kohen; son Clint (Shelley) Guy of Lintlaw, SK, children Derris (Alicia) and family Breelle, Nixon and Deklen, Brent (Korie), Tyson (Kristi) and family Nora and Lewis; son Dwight (Jackie) Guy of Yorkton, SK, children Nathan, Justin, Alexis, Kassidy, Savonnuh, Bethany and Isabelle; daughter Donalda (Ralph) Strand of Preeceville, SK, children Tess (Chris), Brooke (Shawn); son Brad (Lorraine) Guy of Lintlaw, SK, children Tyrone (Amy) and son Jayce, Mallory (Nolan), Bryden (Hailey) and daughter Emma, Mackenzie; son Scott (Crystal) Guy of Melfort, SK, children Rachel (Matt) and family Odin and Oliver, Chloe, Julie (Derek), Libby; sisters Geraldin Rachkewich of Edmonton, AB and Gloria (Wayne) Bertrand of Victoria, BC and brother Jerome Plasken of Regina, SK. She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Anne, brother Dwayne Plasken and infant Guy.
