With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Frederick Worth after a 17-year battle with cancer. He passed peacefully on July 9, 2020 at home, on the farm, with family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Edna Worth, brothers-in-law Leonard Harding and Lloyd Jordan and Sandra's parents Alex and Eva Campbell. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years Sandra; children Wesley, Scott (Jennifer) and Terri; grandchildren Emily (Josh), Avery, Madilynn and Max, siblings Raymond (Pat) Worth, Joyce Harding, Pat Jordan, Mervin (Linda) Worth, Keith (Rosemary) Worth, Delores (Larry) Cunningham, Calvin (Louise) Worth, and Gail (Roman) Szymesko; sister-in-law Ruth (Phil) Yeo; brother-in-law Doug (Sheila) Campbell, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Norman was born June 9, 1945 in Wynyard, SK and was raised on the family farm north of Raymore. He married Sandra Campbell on January 20, 1967 in Regina and they moved to the farm in 1973. Norman continued farming until the spring of 2019 when he was unable to continue due to his health. Norman enjoyed playing hockey with the Copeland Coyotes and curling at the various curling rinks in the area, as well as watching his kids in their various activities. He had a tremendous love of animals. Any stray animals that showed up at the farm usually found a loving home there.
