Olga Scherbatiuk
March 26, 1938 — November 20, 2016
Olga Scherbatiuk was born on March 26, 1938, at her parents’ farm north of Kuroki to Annie and Wasyl Hrycak. She was the youngest of three children.
Olga was very fond of the farm life and had a great interest in flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed embroidery and crocheting. One of her memorable gifts was her impecable handwriting that was adored by all who had the pleasure to read it.
On November 17, 1962, Olga married Andy Scherbatiuk and their only child Shari was born to them in July 1969. They worked side by side for 46 years on their farm north of Kuroki.
Olga passed away on November 20, 2016, at Pleasant View Care Home in Wadena. She leaves to mourn her husband Andy, daughter Shari (Derek) and two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jordan.
