Penny Ann Smith-Clark of Kelvington, SK passed away on July 11, 2019 in Kelvington, SK at the age of 57. She was born on October 13, 1961 to David and Barbara Gurgainus in Whiteville, North Carolina.

Penny met Neil Clark, by chance, in a convenience store and they spent the next 27 years together. Penny was an amazing homemaker, always putting her family first. She lived for her husband, children and grandchildren. She had a very strong faith and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Whiteville, North Carolina.

Penny is survived by her loving husband Neil Clark of Kelvington, SK; daughter Heather (Patrick) Smith Comeau of Monson, Massachusetts; daughter-in-law Diana (Joe) Kavanaugh of Jacksonville, North Carolina; grandchildren Anthony, Lauren, Christopher and Gabriel of Jacksonville, North Carolina; brothers David Gurgainus of Asheboro, North Carolina and Robin (Angela) Gurgainus of Raleigh, North Carolina; nephew Cameron Gurgainus of Raleigh, North Carolina; nieces Cameron Gurgainus of Raleigh, North Carolina, Christian Gurgainus of Raleigh, North Carolina, Katie Gurgainus of Asheborn, North Carolina and Krista Gurgainus of Portland, Oregan; great nephew Max; great niece Penelope as well as numerous other special people in her life. She was predeceased by her parents David and Barbara, daughter Aja Nicole and granddaughter Layla.
