Perry Vaughn Chasky was born January 25, 1968 in Wadena, Sask. He was the last of 3 boys born to Edward and Sianne Chasky.
Perry went to school in Wynyard and later enrolled at SIAST in Humboldt earning a welding certificate. He then worked various jobs from drilling rigs, to pipelines, and then to welding and maintenance at Big Quill Resources.
In 2000 Perry was diagnosed with MS and could no longer work. He loved to spend his time with friends, listening to music, playing his fiddle and above all he absolutely loved to make people laugh.
On Sept. 29, 2011 the Perry that we once knew was taken from us in a serious car accident. Left behind was a "shell" of Perry and on July 6, 2015 he at last found peace.
Perry was predeceased by his mother Sianne, his grandfathers Simbi Helgason and Tony Chasky; grandmother Louise, step-grandfather Bill Holmes, and Sianne's twin sister Ivonne Josephson.
He is survived by his wife Tracy (Demas) and two children Anthony and Montana; his father Edward; two brothers Scott (Christina) and Sheldon (Jackie); grandmother Anna Helgason; aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Perry will be laid to rest in Mozart Pioneer Cemetery at Mozart, Sask. in a family plot.
