Rob Roy McGregor was born to Kenneth and Alice (Henderson) McGregor on June 19, 1951 in Foam Lake, SK.  He was raised on the family farm in the West Bend area, what used to be the original site of the Model farm post office and, passed away peacefully at the General Hospital in Regina, SK on Sunday, September 24, 2023 with family by his side.

Rob and June McGregor were married on April 28, 1973. To this union were born 3 children, Darryl Kenneth, Julie Pauline & Scott Robert.

Rob (known too many as Bob) loved the country and farming lifestyle, he thoroughly enjoyed seeding and harvest seasons and all that it entailed.  Bob enjoyed, once his own work was done, to help his neighbors and friends to ensure they could get finished on time before the frost hit.

Besides farming Bob enjoyed the joy of simple things; he enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, to watch his children and grandchildren play and grow, to have a good meal and a good drink shared with family and friends.

Bob enjoyed history, current events and the news-especially-farming news, reading with most interest in history, newspapers, listening to the radio, and watching TV, he had vast knowledge of local and worldly news, and he was never one to shy away from a good antique or auction sale, even more so if there was Massey couture.

Bob was always willing to lend a helping hand or to call or visit with family, friends and neighbors, or to be active in multiple community groups, particularly with farming flare, and is well known throughout the area. Bob always had a smile, a laugh and genuine good spirit in and towards everyone and everything.

 Bob was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Alice McGregor. Sister and brother-in-law Thelma and Norris Russell, and sister in law Nancy McGregor. As well as father and mother in law Fred and Pauline Dublanica.

 He will be greatly missed and remembered by, his wife June. Son Darryl & Rhonda (Jared), daughter Julie & Jason (Claire & Sara), son, Scott & Noemi (Jan, JL & JoAnna). Brothers Neil and Trish (Hunter & Carter), Don & Connie (Susan, Megan, Lauren), Nephews Norm and Sari (Aarron and Annika),  Jim and Sue (Miranda, Aaden and Sydney) Russell,  brother and sister in law Jack and Amber Dublanica as well as numerous family members and friends.
