Our comfort is that you rest in Peace. Robert was the first child of James and Edith (Thom) Hewitt. He is survived by his wife, Diane (Schweitzer); his son Gerry (Anna Dawn) and their children, Madison and Lindsay; his daughter Janine (Billy) Maruschak and their children, Dylan and Ryan; two brothers, Jim and Thom and two sisters, Corinne and Sandra. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Bill. Bob was born in Dahlton, Sask. He began farming at an early age and it remained his passion throughout life. He married Diane Schweitzer on October 10, 1964. They raised their children on the farm near where Bob was born and raised. Bob's grandchildren were the light of his retirement days. He never tired of watching their sporting events.
