It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our dear Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather Rowland “Rollie” E. Press on September 13, 2022 in Wadena, Saskatchewan at the age of 93.

Rollie was born on November 27, 1928 and raised on the family farm in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. He was a very social person who could start a conversation with anyone and always had many stories to tell. Rollie enjoyed doing many things with his loving wife Vicky (who predeceased him in 2018) including gardening, fishing, camping, travelling and visiting with family and friends.

Rollie will be lovingly remembered by his children: Louise of Edmonton, Alberta, Randy (Donna) and Walt (Dawn) of Calgary, Alberta, Tammy (Jeff) of San Carlos, Mexico, and Hal (Jenn) of Wallaceburg, Ontario; 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren. Rollie was the last surviving member of his family of five siblings.

A Memorial Service for Rollie will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Tompkins Funeral Home Chapel in Wadena, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rollie’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
