Stanley Roberg was born in Wadena, Sask., to Pete and Kate Roberg on April 27, 1941. He attended Normania School for grades 1 to 7 and Margo School for grades 8 to 11. He lived his entire life in the Margo area. Stanley helped his mom and dad on the family farm until the passing of his father Pete in 1971. He officially began his farming career in 1966 and continued to farm for 40 years before renting out his land. On March 11, 1967, he married Maryann Redman in the Moe-Concordia Lutheran Church in Margo. Stanley loved bingo, going to coffee row, and visiting with friends and family. He travelled to a variety of destinations throughout the years, including Osoyoos, Reno, the Mexico/U.S. border and to a reunion in South Dakota. Stanley passed away at Wadena Hospital on March 7, 2015, at 11 p.m. with family at his side. He was predeceased by his father Pete in 1971, mother Kate in 2004, and brother Maurice in 1989. Stanley leaves to mourn his wife of almost 48 years Maryann; sons, Dale (Peggy) Redman and Scott Roberg; daughter Lori (Dennis) Wieffering; brother-in-law Lloyd Redman; sister-in-law Dorothy (Lawrence) Trafford; grandchildren, Erica, Tiffany (Randall), Lara (Dennis) and Dustin; and many nieces and nephews.
