Steven Figeland

A Private Family Memorial Service will take place at a later date

It is with great shock and sadness that the family of Steven Andrew Figeland announces the sudden passing of their beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather on May 28, 2023.

Steven was born on August 15, 1947, and was the chosen child of Ingolf and Ella Figeland. He grew up in the town of Crystal Springs, where his favorite childhood pastime was playing baseball. They relocated to Kuroki for Steven’s Grade 11 year, when his father became Town Administrator. Once graduated he worked for the Sask Wheat Pool and various mechanic and farming jobs for the Sowa family until present.

Steven enjoyed classic cars, music, golfing and simple luxuries, like watching the birds from his favorite perch on the deck. He was always someone you could count on to fix anything or help anyone and he will be sorrowfully missed.

Steven is predeceased by his parents Ingolf and Ella Figeland, and his sister Helen Patricia Dix.

He is survived by his wife Lynette Figeland; son Cory Figeland (Jo McKnight); daughter Tenille (Aaron) Theaker; granddaughter Presley Theaker; brother Rick McLaren (Lorraine); and many nieces and nephews.
